ABSTARCTSince its inception in 1992, the Premier League has faced a number of economic shocks, including global financial crisis. While there is ample literature on insolvency football clubs, this does not necessarily help us gauge fragility to shocks. Clubs’ resilience shocks important our understanding League’s ability grow and outperform other leagues an increasingly competitive industry. Using Annual Reports from 1993 2018, paper analyses clubs wider economy. Results identify most least financially resilient. Of Big Six only Arsenal considered as resilient, whilst others show weakness during downturns or periods growth. Measuring way implications for both sustainability current form withstand future
